Dear LIPFC families and Friends,

Our Spring 2016 season has come to an end, and I would like to thank you all for the amazing support you have given to the club. I can’t thank you all enough for the amazing second year with Long Island Premier FC. 

It was our second season with our teams in division 1 in NY Club Soccer League and every team did much better than last season, We are better and getting better now to be honest all the boys of every team exceeded my expectations when playing the “top clubs” in the league. We won a lot and lost some games but that is not what LIPFC is about. The development of our players which is what I am most concerned about, their development is going great. I ask everyone to be patient as we are on the right path and we are not even close to where I am working to get Long Island Premier FC to. Every team in their division has played very good soccer at times during the season, at every game coaches and referees would come up and say how impressed they were with how the boys played. When you hear that from them it is a good feeling since you know what we are doing is getting our players to the next level and the respect our players showed to the other teams was just amazing. Please make sure to let them know how proud we are of them not only as soccer players but as kids as well.

Commitment: I know and understand that playing at Long Island Premier FC is a big commitment. I need and ask every player to be at every training session as it is the only way we can get your player to be better. We cannot make a player better if he’s not at training. Training is EXTREMELY important for their development and it’s where they learn to be a team. I will always ask every body for a little more as we give everything to make every player and the program better.

Guest Playing: I will ask every one to please not guest play on any teams. I would like all players and parents to concentrate on our program. We are working to make every player better and guest playing DOES NOT help to make a player better. We give them all the tools necessary to grow and get better. With that said, please do not guest play during any season, no exceptions. You have 100% of my commitment, in return I ask everybody for the same commitment.

Communication: Parents please don’t be shy or afraid to approach me with any questions or concerns. It is important to me to keep a good line of communication with every parent and player. I am always available to talk to you. If there’s a problem or you are upset about something please come and talk to me about it. I would like to hear suggestions from any of you anything you think would make things better.

From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for supporting your children and the club. I appreciate you all being there whether it’s raining, freezing cold or hot, you guys are on the sidelines cheering for the boys. 

I promise to keep working hard every season to make the program and each player better. I don’t want Long Island Premier FC to be just a club to you I would like Long Island Premier FC to be an extended family for all the members. I truly care about the well being of everyone.
